Homeward Bound Pet Rescue
Homeward Bound Pet Rescue is an all volunteer, nonprofit dog rescue in the Columbia/Irmo area of South Carolina! Our mission is to make a difference in our community by rescuing stray, homeless and abandoned dogs and to ensure that each dog is adopted into a secure, loving home where they will be treated as valued family members.
Adoptions
All of our pets receive top of the line veterinary treatment to make sure they are healthy and ready for their forever home. In addition to any necessary medical attention, each pet receives the following treatments:

spay/neuter

microchipping
-
age appropriate vaccinations
This is all included in our adoption fee of $250. We do not have a facility, so all of our dogs stay in foster homes.

We are an all volunteer organization and we appreciate your patience while we screen applications. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for us to review. If you wish to check on your application please email us at: homewardboundrescue@hotmail.com.
Our goal is to find the right forever home for each dog using the information you provide on your application and what we have learned about the dog while in our care. If the specific dog you are looking at does not seem like a good fit for your home, we will try to make alternate recommendations to find the best possible fit for your family.
